The Three Month Curse....

Has officially ended! The three month curse is how I have referred to Little Lou's first three months of life. The Little poop. Now don't get me wrong, she's not up for any awards for the best behaved baby by any means, but I think I will finally take the 'For Sale' sign off from around her neck. When she would scream for 10+ hours a day, everyone would say that it would get better once she was three months old. I don't know how she knew, but the day before she was 12 weeks, she started acting like a real baby....or what I think real babies should act like.

Now that she is three months and one day old, here is a little about our baby girl:

Nicknames: Little Lou, Lousky, the Louskinator, Lemur(she looks just like one). I didn't say they were attractive nicknames, but nonetheless, these are what have stuck. Poor little thing!

She still wakes up SEVERAL times a night. And she gives no warning that she may be hungry. She screams bloody murder from the moment she decides it's time to wake up. It's getting real old being jolted out of bed 4 times a night by her blood curdling screams. What happened to a soft grunt or two, followed by the sucking of hands as a hint that she may want a small snack?

She really doesn't like to eat, and gets mad when she eats too much, and she only sleeps a few hours during the day (I'm not sure she's even mine).

Despite being a little grouchy, she smiles so easily. She has only laughed a handful of times, and it amazes me how it is the greatest sound on earth.

Now that she is getting a little older, Brooklyn loves to play with her. She is the softest, sweetest big sister.

Love you Lou!

You Better Not Pout, You Better Not Cry....

I wasn't feeling brave enough to venture over to Walmart to take Christmas pictures of Brooklyn and Leah so I had my friend take them. It was so quick and easy and they turned out better than I anticipated since you-know-who tried her best to ruin them.

Brooklyn looks adorable and loves to smile for the camera, as always. After this photo shoot I took both girls to my sisters house a street away and went Christmas shopping in silence. It was either that or drop Leah off at the North Pole.

Enjoy!
